No. At the end of setup you can choose Continue with Free Plan: one pet, one caregiver, one active sitter link lasting up to 24 hours, 14 days of history. No subscription is required for the free plan. If you start an eligible 7-day Plus trial, your subscription automatically renews as a paid subscription unless you cancel through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the trial ends. After your Plus access ends, you can continue on the free plan. Extra records are paused, not lost — and they come back if you upgrade.
